I would like to thank you for listening to and then playing the song that God created "Come To Me Father For I Have Lost My Way." I would also like to thank my agent Darlene Fowler of HMG Nashville for giving the song to you. I am a retired Police Officer.
God wrote the song through me after I had spent many nights at a revival where there was intense praise and worship. I came home one night after the revival still feeling the joy and laughter of God's presence and suddenly I started singing this song. I said to myself where did this come from? The answer was God. Let me explain some of the phrases. The "flowers" represent the fragrance of Christ. "I once touched your robe;" I think back to the times when I would humble myself to God on my knees, with face toward the floor and arms outstretched with palms up. I thought of the woman in the Bible with the issue of blood. "I know of your presence. I felt your power abound; is the falling to the floor because of the power of Jesus in the room. But it is still God's creation. He just used me as a vessel. I had to go through trails and testing to learn to keep my reliance on God before he would let the song come to be played on the radio. Perhaps it was for a time like this where there is so much strife in the world today. I have also written a children's book to be published hopefully this fall by West Bow Press, a division of Thomas Nelson Publishing in Nashville, Tn. I will give tithes from royalties of song and book to ministries which help people. Thank you so much for your time. May God always protect you Ps. 91 and 121. The singer on the song is Karla Fitzgerald from Ensenada, Mexico. God Bless. Carolyn Unnever
