Reverend Larry Jermaine Woods and First Lady Deven Woods , pastor of Powers Chapel CME Church, located at 20231 County Road 21, Moundville, AL, will be honored by the congregation on July 5th, 2015. The day has been designated Pastor’s Appreciation Sunday. The theme for the day will be “Feed the Sheep” And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.-Jeremiah 3:15. The event is to give recognition to Rev. and Sister L. Jermaine Woods for outstanding service as a pastor and leader. The special Sunday morning service at 11:00 am will feature a message by Minister Annie Myles of Moundville, AL. The afternoon service at 3:00 pm will feature a message by Reverend Paul Harton of Bass Tabernacle of Akron, AL. Church members will express appreciation and will honor the pastor with a banquet meal following the service. All activities are intended for the public.
