Our church, North Myrtle Beach Christian Church in Longs, is having a Bluegrass concert on August 25th at 7:00 pm. The band Is the Morris Brothers & Dixie Station. This is a great band. Come on out and enjoy. No charge, but there will be a love offering at the end of the concert.

Nice station but. There is always a Station ID announcer after / before every music selection. Then there is a sponsor commercial and next is a music version of the station ID ( ug ) and maybe a good musical selection. Then another station ID commercial, Pot luck whether it is a announcer with the station ID or another musical version of the ID. The musical version is there only to impress other broadcasters, not us. I guess it must be for the really old people that can't remember what station they are on for more than three minutes or so. Thank goodness there is a good musical selection to break up the Station ID commercials. They say "Here is another hour of your favorite music":, should be "here is another hour of Station ID commercials".
Enough is enough. How many times do you have to "Blow your own horn?" Here is what the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Requirement is > " A legal identification must be run once per hour of broadcasting. The traditional rule, is that the ID must be run as close to the top of the hour as possible in a natural break in the programming.". I think 94.9 forget the rules or maybe they just like to "Blow their own horn so we cannot enjoy the music".

I just found your station. Our lights went out and I had the WB radio on and I came across some shag music. Thank you.
