I'm writing to see if I can interest you in broadcasting a radio play called Happy Family as a podcast or full length broadcast. The play is inspired by true events from the 1970s. A group of women workers sued a major corporation for equal pay and equal opportunity. They fought high priced corporate lawyers, company spies and violence. It took them ten years, but they won. The play focuses on the woman who held things together for a decade.
The actors in the play are all Chicago members of the SAG-AFTRA and the director, Douglas Post, is also a playwright with many Chicago productions.
On the technical side, the complete show lasts 52 minutes. For podcasting, it has been split into seven installments. The recording meets all the standards for an NPR broadcast.
To listen to all or part of the program go to PRX for Happy Family by Roy Schreiber.
Please accept my thanks for your time and attention.
