WTID-FM 101.7 (Marianna, Chipley, Graceville, Dothan) Oldies 60's & 70's GREAT format, very few commercials. Only complaints I have heard from several listeners is that when it rains-they go off air. When the temp drops to "cool" - they go off air. They have been known to be off air from Friday evening until Monday morning. Apparently their engineers don't monitor the operations. There is no phone number listed, in any capacity, for this station. When working properly this is the best station around. It is actually comparable to Sirius Radio. If it takes having more commercials to pay for upgrades, we are all for that. Just get it upgraded and keep it on the air.

Follow Up from Feb. 1 comment- After the initial post the station came back on the air. It stayed on for several weeks with no interruptions.. On Sunday April 11 they began to show a problem with signal strength and intermittent outages. On Thursday April 15 the station only produced "white noise" and by Friday it was completely silent. As of 8am today it is still off air (5 days)..

Seems that this station has changed formats. Now broadcasting contemporary Christian music. Too bad, the oldies format made it the best station around. I loved it when it was oldies, now I will listen to satellite radio.
