ALL radio stations make adjustments in the beginning. I'm sure this new station will do likewise. I've seen it dozens of times over the years. Can't imagine why he would be compelled to spew out such negativeness. Maybe his Facebook page will provide the answer.

Low power concept is to allow the voice of those not heard on the larger channels to have a place in the air spectrum.
Listened to the channel while driving today, nice mix of music, needs to see if old broadcasters like me (well broadcast engineer - 45 years) would want to help out.
By: Bill C on November 11, 2017
Programmed stations in Illinois, Kansas and Michigan. Would love to lend a programming hand...good on flow & tempo, music clock construction and depth of knowledge 60s and 70s.
By: Mark Powell on November 24, 2017
I just found your station on Wednesday this week. Please whatever happens DO Not change your music format. It has brought back the feeling of the holidays back to me after 11 years. That's when my mother passed away. When y'all played the song Spanish Harlem I cried with happy tears and felt like my mother was with me right then. Keep up the great music. Merry Christmas.
By: DONNA TAYLOR on December 17, 2017
Keep up the great work! Nice to have a station that plays and original radio mix and none of this iHeart Radio playlist junk on every station. I would appreciate a station with old time radio shows, too.
By: Merman on December 20, 2017
Finally!! An oldies station in Indianapolis that baby boomers can really enjoy! Thanks! Crank up the power when you can!
By: Bo on December 22, 2017
Great station, Great music! Takes me back with no flashback. Please don't change. Sad it is so low power, difficult to receive at times and some locations while driving around. Thank you!
By: JAM317 on December 27, 2017
This station was destined to be something truly special. Fill in major gaps in this market aND honestly ignored in most markets. Trsgically radio Ametica due to large out of touch rich. Then these low watt stations are even worse. Wannabes. Play acting. With their heads up their butts. Who idolized, Dr. Demmeto, Dick Clatk, Casey Kasem that crap died in the 70s. Stations like this are common by people who load up a bunch of music from bad personal collections. Used Ronco, Ktel, Rhino, Time Life collections. Know absolutEly nothing about music, the market, the listener. Or even like music at all. They get there egos strike by people who don't really live life or enjoy music either. Just background noise. Then some bozo talk's them into playing oldies. Or country. Or christian. Or bad easy listending fake jazz. This station has change their format three times in three months. Look at the hasbeen's who I would deem are folks that are part of radio in America problems.

Just tuned in yesterday, Jan 22, I like it. I don't need lame jocks and their "I'll tell you after these commercials" stories, or constant laughing blather. Music. From when music was better. No warbling, unable to hold a note multi-tracks, no UNK UNK UNK UNK, none of that technosynth Disneypop garbage. If you don't like it, well-- Indy airwaves are full of high-powered stations that do play that useless noise. More for you.
By: George on January 23, 2018
I live on the southeast side of Indianapolis so don't always get to enjoy the great music you play when I travel east or further south. I truly enjoy your music and wish the signal was strong enough to reach a larger audience. Is there a way to increase to signal to include more of us who enjoy your awesome music with no commercials? It would be so appreciated if this were possible! Thanks for playing timeless music.
By: Ed on February 7, 2018
Happened upon this station recently. Nice change of pace from the usual. Refreshing not to hear any news which has turned into the tragedy report

I even drive around to pick up your station better .LoL .. Thank you for the beautiful music ❤
By: Carol Guy on February 22, 2018
Truly enjoyable listening experience. I hope it doesn't go away. I'd be willing to even take out a small advertising buy
By: Joseph Gwin on May 24, 2018
I play solo gigs around town and two of the songs I've heard on your radio station are going into my rotation.. even heard two different versions of Spanish Harlem! Thanks.. I hope it's people choosing this format and not a really cool robot dj😂
By: Charlie Morgan on June 15, 2018
LOVE your station.
By: Joseph Gwin on June 30, 2018
Stumbled across your station on way to work after Christmas vacation. Dial full of “Classic Rock” which evidently means Mellencamp, Zeppelin or Eagles only. Love the music and hope you stick around...and boost your power. Good luck & I’m listening.
By: Cornell Coletrain on June 30, 2018
100.1 is my newest find on the radio and it seems to be all 70s rock and soul. I know about 99.1 and 91.9, are there any other awesome gems in the area?
By: tired of milk on July 1, 2018
it looks like they've expanded their date range from early 60s through 1980-81. Reception is pretty good coming from downtown up to the northside.
By: Jorg Sacul on July 1, 2018
Love this station! Keep it coming!!!

By: Alan Judkins on October 13, 2018
Tuned in today in the car and the airwaves were silent! What happened?
By: Susan Starkey on October 19, 2018
What happened to the jams?! Bring them back, please!! They were such a highlight of my day.
By: Chris on October 21, 2018
I LOVE YOUR STATION!!! The music is not the same tunes as the other "classic rock" stations repetitive mix. Found you on Monday by accident, never changing that dial! I just wish you had a little more power! I'm in Southeast Indy / Beech Grove and get lots of static, but truthfully your station is worth listening too even through that static!
By: Rick on November 1, 2018
I really enjoy your station. No useless trivia ,stupid contests, or has-been hosts just great music. Please increase your signal so I can hear you all the way home.
By: Bob Roberts on December 1, 2018
Great, no Christmas music...sick of it already, keep the hits coming.
By: Judy on December 1, 2018
Music I haven't heard in years, Great station, Thanks.
By: William on December 2, 2018
I read this article in the IBJ; Radio stations embrace older audiences, rather than be millennial-obsessed. Your station got it right. Great music, needs more power.
By: Tom on December 2, 2018
We enjoy your format, our media buyer will be in contact with you about purchasing some underwriting time for our practice.
By: Paul on December 3, 2018

I have not heard so very many of these songs in 40-50 years and yet I know all the words. What a joy - to recollect back to a time when I always had time for music and dancing and fun!
By: Jodie on January 15, 2019
Start a Go Fund Me page, I'll make a contribution if it will help you get a stronger signal. I like the music I just can't hear the station at home.

By: Ivrin on January 19, 2019
Love, love, love you station. Wonderful songs that no one else plays. Sets a great mood for the day. 😊
By: Sarah Green on January 20, 2019
Very special variety. Makes my day when I’m
In Indianapolis. All young people should listen
to real music at least once in their life in order to experience what they are missing.
By: Jesse on January 21, 2019
There was a song played today between 7:45 am & 8:00 am. I would like to know the name of the song but cannot remember the lyrics.
By: Lisa M Lamott on February 6, 2019
I love your station. I wish you could publish the play list so I know the artist and song. I know most of them but some of the oldies stumps me.
By: Lisa M Lamott on February 6, 2019

Good music! Needs more power to listen out of town
By: Joe on April 29, 2019
While surfing through the FM dial I stumbled across your station and boy am I glad I did! Unfortunately I can only get it on my car radio and not always then because of the low power and the fact I'm in Avon. Love the format; like walking down memory lane! Finally a station for us baby boomers without commercials and needless chit-chat. It does make one hesitate when about to leave the car! Hoping you'll be able to increase the power so I may listen at home as well. Thanks to the sponsors too. Have yet to require their services but will not hesitate to call them if needed. Keep up the great work!
By: Linda Guyse on May 6, 2019

By: James on May 27, 2019
Great music for the family gathering.
By: Betty on May 27, 2019
I have my radio Bluetooth converter set to 100.1 because the frequency is clear on the southeast side of town. I only discovered it when I was around 43rd and Meridian and the signal interfered with my Bluetooth converter. When I turned it off I was surprised to hear a great station on that frequency. I sure wish your signal was stronger but i know that takes money
By: Ken Rohrer on June 2, 2019

I really love your radio station! Keep up the good work!
I would like to build a playlist in spotify so I can listen to these songs when not in the car. I would be happy to donate some money (or to a charity of your choice) if you can send me a list of songs you play.

Owners of WSHT radio I want you to know that I have been listening to your station for the past month. In the past month I have not heard one mention about the corona virus, unemployment, people panicking, etc. just good music. Thank you for not adding to the hysteria that permeates the airwaves.

Found your station while scanning through the radio today. I found the music refreshing, no commercials screaming at you to buy something, no jocks trying to be funny no bad news just good music. Thanks.
By: Listener on August 27, 2020
I Love WSHT-LP, but you should check the wiring. As of 10/18/2020, stereo broadcast have noise on one channel.
I found this noise on multiple radios at multiple locations, so it seems to be a broadcast issue.
Most noticeable with headphones on.

I remember watching WKRP back in the day, but I never thought I would hear call letters like those in use over the air. Your call letters are the funniest damn thing I've heard on radio in a long time, thanks for the laugh.
By: Listener on January 3, 2021
Heard Thunder Island on your station today, boy did that bring back some memories. Sure makes you wish for simpler times when love was young and free.
By: Jim B. on January 18, 2021
My wife and I relocated to Indy last fall. And after a very long drive in our Uhaul, we came across 100.1 as we entered the city. It was such a welcome to our neighborhood after a very long relocation process. We literally haven’t changed the dial on our home stereo since. We listen to 100.1 everyday!
By: Aaron on January 31, 2021
I used to listen to the Classic Hits station, but I like your variety better. It would be nice if you had a stronger signal so that I could listen to you at home, but I am able to listen in the car. Please don't change a thing I like your station the way it is.

I found your station this evening after the one I normally listen to (104) died. I found the music you play is similar but yet again different. The one thing I really like is the fact there are no jocks talking all over the songs I want to hear the music not some one talking. I think I'll forego 104 and give your station a listen.
By: Kevin on July 13, 2021
