The Annual Haitian Flag Day Festival will be held on May 14th, 2016 at Franklin Square in City Market. The event begins at 10:00 a.m to 12:00 a.m. There will be live music, Haitian arts, music and foods. It is free to the public. Thank you very much for your help getting the word out to the community. Walk for St. Jude’s and
Pancake Breakfast for Independence Fund
September 17, 2016. – 8-11:00 AM - RAIN OR SHINE!
Sun City Pavilion - All are welcome
Walk for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Pancake Breakfast to benefit The Independence Fund sponsored by the Sun City Buckeye Group will be held at the Sun City Pavilion September 17, 2016 from 8-11:00 AM.
Registration and walk will be 8-10:00 AM – you do not have to walk to give or give to walk. Sign-in and walk at your own pace around Town Square. Door prize drawings for St Jude’s will continue throughout the breakfast – you do not need to be present to win.
Pancake breakfast (donation) 8-11:00 AM with silent auction will benefit The Independence Fund which provides specialized wheelchairs for our young men and women who have been wounded in combat.
Throughout both events, entertainment will be provided by the fabulous “Sunsationals”.

Host families are needed for high school foreign exchange students for the upcoming school year. Welcome a student into your family and learn about another culture as you share yours. Students are 14-18 years old, speak English, and have medical insurance and spending money for personal expenses. Host families provide room & board and loving parental guidance. A trained local coordinator will help you find a student that’s a good fit for your family and will provide support to you and your student throughout the program.
