Good Afternoon whom this may concern, We are a community awareness group called “You Matter” our names our Labiba, Natalia, Raisa, and Rafa. We go to Medical Academy for Science and Technology Highschool at Homestead. Our group’s purpose is to bring attention to mental health and depression to all ages. We want to be able to inform others about constructing coping with symptoms that can come with mental health problems. We were hoping you could give us a shout out on our community awareness group of mental health. This group is composed of four highschool girls (Rafa, Raisa, Labiba, and Natalia) that are from MAST at Homestead. Their mission statement and purpose is to break the stigma that comes with mental health issues. Did you know that 46.4% of people experience a mental health illness during their lifetime?
