On July 27, 2004, Josh Teegarden was killed while serving on the mission field at Christ Camp for the Blind in Rockcastle County, Kentucky. In memory of his life here on earth, his family and friends are combing two of the things Josh loved the most: running and missions. The “Josh Teegarden Memorial 5K Run/Walk” will be held on JUNE 27, 2015 at Freetown Church of Christ. Registration starts at 8 a.m. and the race will start at 9 a.m. The entry fee is $25.00 per participant. All who participate will receive a t-shirt. Awards will be given to the top female and male racers in several categories. For more information, or to register, please call Bill or Pam Teegarden at 606-748-8456 or email wgteegarden@yahoo.com or sarah.teegarden@gmail.com. Come help us honor Josh and “Move for Missions!”

Blessings to you!
My name is Chris Gieschen and, I have recently been interviewed by Janet Mefferd on her show airing on the Bott Radio Network. My book is entitled, “Is Evolution Compatible With Christianity?” I also make myself available to Christian congregations/groups interested in equipping their youth against Evolution Wrong while embracing Evolution Right. I am asking for your program/station to help me get the word out about my ministry to Christians, especially the Lutheran ones.
I have been a high school Biology/Earth Science teacher for most of my 42-year career at a Lutheran high school in Indiana. I decided to write a book about the topic as I was asked for help by former students who never seemed to keep their notes for university education. My book is easily understood by teens and laity alike due to my extensive teaching at that level.
The reason my book and ministry are so critical is that most teens are poorly trained in apologetics, which is the art of defending one’s faith. To rest solely on the Bible is okay for oneself, but does not do a very good job of reaching the lost. If one can show the scientific and Biblical differences between Evolution Right and Evolution Wrong, one will not only be more likely to remain a Christian in high school through the university years, but will also be more effective in helping others to become changed for the Kingdom.
My website is: CreationYes.org Email me at creationyes2019@gmail.com for more information or to schedule an interview.
Thanks for your time and God bless your work in His Kingdom!
In Him,
Chris Gieschen
