Love this station! It sparked a fire inside me for music of a different era, music that was created to spread joy to the listeners, to soothe the mind and comfort the soul. 89.9 introduced me to Andy Williams and Robert Preston, while also giving me a look into the doo-wop crazed 40s and 50s, instilling in me a love for Dion and the Belmonts, Ben E King, The Carpenters, The Chordettes, Paul Anka, The Crest, Jay and the Americans, Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs, The Dell Vikings, The Duprees, The Safaries, Frank Sinatra, and so many more. Thank you for giving me a chance to love music that was truly about love and to experience a sound that was free of any evil, sexual, or derogatory messages. Thank you for showing me the beauty of music!
