This is great. I was born a little too late to enjoy pure music, the kind that makes you feel good. so soothing, My husband being 10 yrs older than I, is in his element. The mix is awesome.
since you are also online I am going to suggest you to distant family.
My home stereo as well as both of my cars will permantely be set on WKIX 850 AM.
Thanks for a fresh breath!!!

Please please please can you stream your music? I live in Durham and have a hard time with reception in some areas. Have already dealt with Flickos perhaps stream would help sponsors too?

Just 2 weeks ago i found out that WKIX was on and playing oldies fro 50s & 60s music from my era, being born in the 40s.
Today, 3/14/12 i got in my truck, radio already on 850 wkix, but not the old music, but some crappie talk show.
To me, the talk shows is what helped kill a lot of low power AM stations to gegin with.
What happened? Whear is the oldies music????
LET ME KNOW SOMETHING

I love your format and repertoire but have trouble receiving you in Southern Pines. Any chance you can broadcast further south? I always listen to you when I can get 850 am north of town, but it fades out below Vass. 104.7 fm has interference down here and there's nothing local to match your music choice. Help!
