The North Beaches Art Walk is held the third Thursday every month. The next one is tonight. It’s held outdoors from 5pm – 9pm where Atlantic Blvd meets the ocean. Over 60 artists will be participating along several musicians spread throughout. Special this month is the Braided Light Dance Project, a non-profit organization whose goal is to broaden the audience of modern dance. They will be performing at 6pm and again at 7pm in the parking lot where Atlantic Blvd meets 3rd Street in Atlantic Beach. During the Art Walk, free micro chipping for pets will be offered by Ocean View Veterinary Hospital at the intersection of 1st St and Orange St in Neptune Beach. Want to know more about horses? My two rescued thoroughbred just "wrote" a book: 'Horse Tales, Just'n and Teddy Come to an Understanding'. After racing, showing and raising thoroughbreds, I now rescue them. These two wanted people to know how appreciative they are, but also what their lives were like before they came to live with "the lady"/ me. This is actually my 9th book, all different genres. We moved to Florida a year ago and brought these two plus our dogs (rescues) and cat (rescue).
