Hi. I am a Terre Haute, IN based Christian (independent) filmmaker. I don't even know if anyone will see this message, but I desperately need some help from my local community faith based leaders. I am in pre-production of my final film. It is just too difficult and costly to produce my own films, though I have been following the will of GOD in doing so, I just can't continue after my next film, especially with no community support. I have personally reached out to churches (hundreds of them) in the Wabash Valley, seeking their help and prayers, and I get no response whatsoever. It is very disheartening. I don't know if these Pastors / churches just do not take me seriously or if they simply don't care about indie films, even though they most certainly should because I am working for GOD.... the same GOD they are supposed to be working for. I am making a difference in the lives of people, but I am only one woman and I can't carry the burden all alone. Not only do I need some fundraising ideas / help, I also need help getting the word out to the community. Most folks don't even know we exist in Terre Haute. I am trying to change that. But I need help. I was hoping the Christian Radio Station might be willing to help me spread the news. I am looking for investors and or fundraising assistance from the Christian community.... my brothers and sisters. My new film is called THE TEXT and is about the dangers of texting and driving, forgiveness and adoption. Local celebrity (JULIE HENRICKS) accepted a supporting role in the film and I hope her presence will attract the local community. I have so much more I could say, but won't on this platform, for lack of space. I'd love to catch someone's attention and desire to help me. Thank you, in advance.
