I am sure that by now you are aware of a deplorable you tube video of Thaddeus Matthews verbally abusing his guest, GOP candidate for CD9 of Memphis, Charlotte Bergmann. He used vulgar and racist language, refused to let her answer his loaded questions by continually shouting her down. He showed her no respect as a woman or a sister, merely because she did not toe the Democrat line, He obviously was very proud of his put down as he had it filmed and put up on you tube. This man should not even be on the air. He is a disgrace to the memory of Dr. King, and all blacks, especially as this video goes viral in Black History Month. I am sure that the FCC will have something to say about this matter if you don't address this shameful behavior of a talk show host.

Everyone needs to be aware that this station was started by Thaddeus Matthews himself, just so that he could have a forum for his racist hate-filled rants. Your station should be ashamed to employee such a hateful person. Ms. Bergmann was treated horrible and proved she was a lady by remaining calm and politely leaving. Your employee was verbally abusive not only to a politician but to a female and showed his true nature. While Matthews thinks he is a protector of black people he is really our worst enemy.

His comments have no place in our society and there is no situation or time where these type comments should be tolerated in our society much less on the public airways. I cannot believe that this radio station would allow a person like Mr. Matthews to spew his hatred on air. If a white person would use this type of language their employment, rightfully so, would have been terminated before the end of their shift. This type of racism should not be tolerated period. As a former radio DJ myself I find this beyond the pale. There is simply no excuse for this kind of behavior. I believe I saw a HATE CRIME committed right there on YouTube. That man is racist, bigoted and so firmly besotted with himself that he deserves NO FURTHER EMPLOYMENT IN ANY BROADCASTING CAPACITY. I do not care if he tries to con his way into another job by promising to read bedtime nursery stories to children. FIRE HIM. If you do not, then you and you're motivations are as suspect as his. And I thought no one had experienced this but my family. I read and read and still could not get the gist of why people in the commuity were treating my family so hateful. Well this is it. We are the "Charlotte Bergman's" of our community. Mainly these attacks are black on black targets. Also, often some people from another race, who planted the seeds, will include themselves to target the victims of the these hate crimes. I experienced this in Eastern North Carolina. I called the FBI office who told me to go to the local sheriff's department. I visited the local sheriff's department and the secretary/receptionist was already schooled on how to discourage my visit. "The sheriff has gone for today." No other information was givben. I called the FBI, they had someone there talking hateful also to discourage my report. When I told the FBI that my visits to the sheriffs office was reported to members of my community, the FBI Agent very hatefully said, "that information is public information." It went on for years. People that I knew and went to school with would talk to me and mention my siblings. Before sundown, they would have gone to my sibling and stirred up a mess of conflict. This was done to bring on division. My dear mother was targetet in the nursing home also. I happened to have been walking up to my mother's room and approaching a nurse's station. One of the aides said to me, "You're not Black." I said, "What?" She said, "nothing." Mind you my eyes are hazel. I just felt baffled. Things kept happening and I now know why. It's called "Uncle Thoming".
