Listener Comments and Reviews
I would like to take this opertunity to say THANK YOU for giving us listeners the chance to hear NASCAR races in the Louisville market.

What is going on???? This stinks.
By: LEE Jenkovich on November 1, 2012
Why would you cancel the talk programs a few days before election day? The day after Halloween is way too early for Christmas music!!! I will not be listening until talk comes back. Very disappointing!
By: LJG on November 1, 2012
Kinda early for christmas music? not even near thanksgiving. you had a winning radio program before this, and right before the election, unbelievable. would really like an explination. nothing wrong with christmas music, but isnt it a bit much? something doesnt smell right in the state of denmark!
By: william matthews on November 1, 2012
You want to know how to lose all of your listeners? You play Christmas music for 2 whole months!!
By: Mark on November 2, 2012
Christmas music already, seriously?! Bring back talk radio!!
By: Allie on November 2, 2012
Not real happy with the programming, no heads up!! or anything to say, "we will not be talking" because the liberals have bought us off. who do I call to complain? Christmas music is lovely at CHRISTMAS time, hello, this is a real disappointment to "talk radio" everywhere.
By: Susan on November 2, 2012
Perfect! Less than a week before the most important election in 4 years and you clowns get the bright idea to play Christmas music a month early! Whoever made this brilliant decision needs to be terminated. Christmas music is fine during CHRISTMAS time. I really love the way you morons did it without letting your listeners know.
By: Duane on November 2, 2012
I love Christmas music as much as the next person, but we tune in for the talk radio. Ditch the music and go back to what you do best.
By: Gilbert on November 2, 2012
Just so you know, you have lost me as a listener and I will not be back. I probably speak for thousands.
Christmas music..yeah sure..
By: rob combs on November 3, 2012
I have small shop and listen 105.1 all day but 6 to 8 hours of Christmas music is a little too much. I think canceling the talk progamms a few days before the elections smells fishy.
By: warren on November 3, 2012
Really, how convenient 6 days before an election you decide to play Christmas music!!!! Fuck you you bunch of assholes! Give me back man cow!!!! Better yet I'm calling man cow!!
By: Anonymous on November 3, 2012
What is going on with the station? Liberals stopping freedom of speech!!!!
By: Anonymous on November 3, 2012
The talk format was a great addition and alternative to the otherwise mindless FM dial in Louisville. Truly disappointing and very suspect, given the timing, especially. Hiding behind "Christmas" is really insulting to the politically minded talk radio listeners in the area. I agree with the previous comments.

obama election is behind this. no other reason for it. and they bow down and worship theirs false GOD.
By: wayne on November 4, 2012
You can shove the christmas music until christmas. bring back talk radio. The owner of this station must be an obama supporter.
By: claude on November 5, 2012
I couldn't beleive it! Christmas instead of talk radio? They say it's because they didn't have enough listeners. Well look for losing a ton of listeners now! BRING BACK TALK RADIO!!!
By: sherald on November 5, 2012
What happened to talk radio? I have CD's if I want to hear Christmas music! I want to hear Laura Ingram, Glenn Beck, Jerry Doyle & the rest.
What radio station can make it playing Christmas music for 2 months? Why start just a few days before the presidential election?
By: Rich on November 7, 2012
I already see it. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh, co-owned by 99.7djx, therefore another step by the mainstream media to help the "Whitehouse" polarize America. "Thank you God" for a voice of freedom in the Salem radio network and 970am talk. President Obama said he disliked talk radio, so now we know who is on his side. Shame on you, the biased liberal owners and directors of WLRS 105.1. And now do note! Remember you asked us to support the advertisers on you station? I will now not even consider them. Advertisers, pull your ads, because you have no support from this past audience
By: rex on November 8, 2012
You lost me listening to this station until talk radio is back on again
By: Joe on November 10, 2012
I have to join all the above comments in saying how obvious you are in being pressured by the left to take away our conservative voice. We are outraged as well. Don't the liberals have enough support with the main stream media? Do they have to silence any voice we have?
By: Gail on November 14, 2012
Christmas sellout !!!!!!!!!!! 105.1 talk is just like the damn stores...bringing in Christmas way too early and cutting off talk radio shows before the elections. "Main Line Broadcasting" must be run by an anti-Conservative Liberal. WHY DON'T YOU CALL THE PROGRAMMING CHANGE "HOLIDAY MUSIC". HOW DARE YOU USE THE NAME "CHRISTMAS". YOU AIN'T GOT A CLUE ABOUT WHAT PEOPLE NEED AT THIS POINT.....WE NEED TO HEAR IMPORTANT ISSUES. WE CAN PLAY CHRISTMAS MUSIC ANYTIME WE WANT IN OUR OWN HOMES.
By: Terry on November 14, 2012
Eat a dick 105.1, bring back Beck
By: Ron on November 17, 2012
Love the new radio station...Love all the songs Have informed all my friends... Just wanted to say it is so very nice to have a station you can stay with because you play great music and the songs take me back to some great memories....Thanks WLRS 105.1

After aquanting myself with the FCC Czar and John Boehner I'm going to assume your callow selves are either aligning yourselves with the GOP or bending over to the regime. Either way I'm tuning out to everybody and voting a straight libertarian ticket from here on out. In the words of Eric Cartman "Screw you guys, I'm going home!" When I hear Jerry or Glenn back on than I will begin listening to all points of view again.
By: ian on January 3, 2013
Boring format full of songs I can hear anywhere. One less listener here. Bring back the talk programming, especially Beck!
By: Kris on January 8, 2013
I was hoping your station would wake up and go back to Talk Radio format. Haven't turned your station on since your 'debut' of Christmas music on November 1st...I have over 2 hours commute time, and now listen to WHAS to keep informed. So totally disappointed to not get Mancow and Glenn Beck. WISH YOU WOULD WAKE UP AND REALIZE KENTUCKY NEEDS YOUR OLD FORMAT BACK!.
By: Catherine Dalley on February 14, 2013
Anyone know if Louisville will be getting a much needed FM talk radio station to replace wlrs? Was a loyal listener from the beginning. Miss all the hosts especially Michael Savage. does anyone know how to start a radio station?
By: cathy b on February 27, 2013
THANK YOU!!! Finally a station where I know all the words to all the songs!! YOU GUYS ROCK!!
By: sharon on April 7, 2013
I sure hope you play Christmas music on November 1, 2013. every one is our group cant wait.
By: maggie on October 23, 2013
dont listen to these fools most of them probably claim to be christian which christmas is christ birth day personal i love christmas and christmas music you could never start to early for me thanks in fact you could play holiday music all year long as far as i go oh and this crap of blaming every thing on the president he isnt the one who messed up the economy and every thing it was bush and the republicans people need to let him do his job and shut up.
By: scott on November 4, 2013
I used to love this station but now they changed the format to (c)rap music. You are going off my dial. Sell out!
By: alan on February 3, 2015
This was a really good station. They played the great classic songs. A real good mixture. Then last friday 01-30-15 it just changed. I want the old station back. I am deleting it from my saved stations on my car stereo.

Try 102.3 The Rose for Soft Rock/Soft Adult Contemporary.
Station just launched a month ago in August of 2022. It is very similar to what 105.1 had a long time ago.
