Join us Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 10:00am to 2:00pm for a job fair for veteran job seekers, active duty military members, guard and reserve members, and military spouses at the Navy Operational Support Center, 4901 CBC 3rd Street, Gulfport, MS 39501. This event will be a one-of-a-kind FREE hiring fair for both employers and job seekers. There will be a job seeker Transition/Employment workshop at 8:30 a.m. at the Fleet and Family Support Center, 5301 Snead Street, Bldg. 30, Gulfport, MS 39501. The Workshop for job seekers focuses on resume writing, tips for successfully navigating hiring fairs, military skill translation, and interviewing. The workshops are FREE to veteran job seekers, active duty military members, guard and reserve members, and military spouses. This Lockheed Martin sponsored hiring event is being conducted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce, the Naval Construction Battalion Center, Gulfport, MS the Department of Labor's Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (DOL VETS), the Mississippi Committee of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), NBC News, and other local partners. We have loved WGCM 102.3 FM, in the past week or more, your signal becomes very broken, especially in the morning. It is not our radio, because your station is the only one that does this. I know your techs are aware s, or should be. Just wanted to let you know there may be a problem. Like I said we love your music and would hate to switch to another station that plays a different style of music with to much talk. Thank you for listening and taking your time.
