I'm excited about the Derks Bentley concert to be help tomorrow! We live in NC and wish we knew the venue or some information so we could get in line to try to get tickets....you see my 8 yr old granddaughter (that's my profile picture) is having some difficult challenges. But she loves Derks. When he comes on the radio she loves to sing along. Her FIRST name is Bentley however she is convinced they are related lol only the innocence of a child.....I want to drive over to Knoxville in the morning if I thought we could get 3 tickets. Me and her grandpa would stand anywhere and beg for her to be able to hear him live! But we would need to leave our town before one o'clock and at. This point we would miss getting there early enough to purchase a ticket. We can't wait until one o'clock .....If you know anything that could help me can you pass it along? This would make her so happy!

Good afternoon KGAP!
Bearden High School Band will be holding a Car Wash at OfficeMax on Kingston Pike
this Saturday, the 18th of August.
Donations are Tax Deductible and the job will done excellently.
Bearden has a very solid music program, and funds raised during this event will pay
for instrument maintenance, supporting each trip that the band takes, simple things
like water and ice during long summer band camps, visits to competing schools, concerts,
and uniform maintenance.
In short, running a highly professional HS music program is expensive, and very little
assistance comes from government channels.
So that's where we come in...
Hope that you can run a story on this. These are such wonderful kids. And they're being
led by some truly honorable & talented teachers -- all whom love what they do, and are
teaching our Knoxville HS students how things should be done properly & excellently.
And since the concept of excellence transfers from one discipline to another, the lessons
and experiences that our kids have here now -- will become meaningful & positive,
lifetime memories.
Hope you can persuade many to attend Saturday's event at OfficeMax, located at 7111 Kingston
Pike, in Knoxville, TN from 9am until 4pm.
Minimum (recommended) donation is $10.
Thank you & many blessings on you & your staff!
Sincerely,
Tim Grimes
