St. John’s Episcopal Church of Havre de Grace has decided to take up a donation of goods and we are going to be sending them to Oklahoma. One of our vestry members, Ken Streb, is a first responder and will be driving a truck out there for us. We are in contact with the Diocese of Oklahoma and have been given a list of supplies needed and drop off locations from them. We are looking for first aid supplies, blankets, flashlights, batteries, pet supplies and food, non-perishable foods, water, diapers, wipes, baby formula, sunscreen, hand towels, work gloves, shovels, tools, rakes, heavy trash sacks, boxes, pitchforks, toiletries… NO CLOTHING. We are looking for money donations for the TRIP to get the supplies there. We will also be accepting gift cards to Walmart, Target, Home Depot, and Lowes.
Our deadline for donations will be June 30th.
Below is a link to a form that will allow people to say if they can donate and to give them times that we will be at the church or to arrange for a different time to drop off items. Could you publish this link and tell the community what we are doing? We are hoping to get support for this outreach to our brothers and sisters in Oklahoma from throughout the community. Thank you!

Children may be looking forward to Halloween which is just around the corner, but ghosts and goblins are the least of their worries. Did you know bullies scare more children every year than any ghost ever could?
