Fearless is hosting a benefit for Vicky and her family. On January 14, Vicky was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre syndrome – a rare condition where the immune system attacks the nerves, leading to muscle weakness, numbness and paralysis. Vicky was hospitalized and is currently receiving treatment in the ICU. She was placed on a ventilator and has lost all feeling below her waist. She cannot move anything below her neck. While a full recovery is expected, it may take months or even years. The event will consist of a Roll-A-Thon in the morning, with food and games to follow. We will also be selling raffle tickets for the next month and drawing winners on February 18. Please RSVP if you are attending the event but keep in mind there are TONS of ways to help even if you can't make it that day! Thank you friends and family for your support. How Can I Help? • Sponsor a Student in the Roll-a-Thon or Participate in it The Roll-a-Thon will consist of 3.5 hours of grappling. Participants will do jiu jitsu and wrestling grappling for three-minute rounds with one-minute breaks in between for over FIFTY total rounds! Sponsors can agree to donate a specific amount to support a participant, or help motivate them by donating per grappling round completed! We recommend a minimum donationg of $1 per round. Grapplers, we are looking for as many participants as possible. Please ask your friends, family and loved ones to sponsor you as well as local businesses. • Buy Raffle Tickets or Donate to the Raffle Raffle tickets are $1 per ticket, or 12 tickets for $10. Tickets will be on sale through February 18 at 5 p.m. Winners will be drawn live at Fearless MMA and also listed on the Fearless Facebook page. You do not have to be present to win. There are over 50 available prizes, including baskets, gift cards, and services such as chiropractic work and spa treatments! We are always looking for more donors to increase the value of our raffle.
