Pets for Vets is one of the biggest, well supported fundraisers here at the University of Maine. This dodgeball tournament is a fantastic way for families, students, and veterans in the Orono area to come and support one another in a competitive game that strengthens team building and communication skills. Our cause is to pay the adoption fees to provide companion animals for veterans who suffer from PTSD and give them the support they need as they return from overseas. This event will be held on Sunday March 29, 2020 at the University of Maine Field House consisting of a dodgeball tournament and bake sale where all the proceeds will go to our cause. A total of $3,000 was raised from participation as well as sponsorship from the greater Bangor community in 2019. With this, our goal this year is to raise $4000 in order to support a cause to help those in need. Any donations may be placed here as well as payments through Venmo to @MBSCorps-Jones.
