I hear that Kia Chambers is on the public school board but she sends her child to a private school (Pacelli) in Muscogee County? I question why this is not bigger news. I would think that this would be a major concern for the parents of our students in MCSD. We have a person making decisions that effect a school system that she does not even trust with her own child. I am all for any parent wanting the best for their child and providing the best education money can buy. But I don't think a person that sends their kid to a private school should have ANY say so as to the direction of the public school system. Have concerns about the school system, sure.
