WAKM 950 AM Radio Station Information

WAKM is an AM radio station broadcasting at 950 KHz. The station is licensed to Franklin, TN. The station broadcasts Country music programming.

Hubby and I dropped of some Fresh Homegrown Tomatoes, for the staff ......DJ on duty welcomed us with a smile...and an opportunity to put in a 'Plug' for the Dulcimer Dandies' Mt. Dulcimer Band of Franklin, TN.... Thank You for the wonderful music you are presenting....and the humor that you are sharing with the public... Thank You for doing such a Great/Super Job!! Hiya folks. I am an 86 y.o. pensioner in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia and I enjoy all Country music (but especially "Blue Grass") and listen a lot to on-line Radio. I listen to "Accu Radio" which broadcasts many different genres of music but have just added "Radio Garden" after hunting through the thousands of stations on the site. I narrowed my search for Country style by concentrating on Tennessee and Kentucky areas and eventually came across WAKM in Franklin, TN! My only problem is that you and I have a time difference of 15 hours ... it is nearly 8:00 am Tuesday here and 5:00 pm Monday there. Just thought I'd let you know you are being heard here in Australia. Keep the music comin' ... and "y'all take care now, y' hear". Alan in "Oz".
