What in the world happened to KFNY Smooth Jazz? It was the ONLY station I listened to at home and in the car. Please, please bring it back. The current format is not in the least enjoyable!

Omgosh, what a surprise to hear mexican music come blaring out of my speakers as I was driving down the road this morning!!
Years of crappy music stations to choose from in Grays Harbor County the only glimmer of sunshine was KFNY!
Please bring it back as soon as possible I beg of you!
What am I going to do with out the calming, soothing sounds of KFNY smooth jazz?
Sincerely, Niny97

Ok, I'm upset! KFNY is (was) my go-to station while in my car. We already lost our previous Smooth Jazz station in Seattle awhile back and now this one? I will not be listening to this station until the jazz format returns. What the hell are you thinking?!? Please reconsider!!

What happened to the Jazz Station? Are there plans to operate a jazz station under different call letters? We lost our former jazz station 98.9. A lot of jazz enthusiasts, but not enough jazz stations. What a disappointment.

Bring back the jazz! There are Hispanic options out there already, now there are no jazz options.
By: George on July 2, 2019
"On May 6, 2019, Bustos Media acquired KFNY from iHeartMedia's divestiture trust for $3 million.[10] On June 29, 2019, KFNY had flipped to regional Mexican." From Wikipedia...
so the smooth jazz station as we know it is...gone.
By: scott on July 3, 2019
PLEASE bring back the Smooth Jazz!! You've lost dedicated listeners due to the format change.

I awoke this morning to Mexican music on 102.9. I thought I had set the station incorrectly since I was expecting my smooth jazz! What a shock. I spent the next 10 minutes looking for the smooth jazz station. I'm thinking maybe there's something wrong with this radio, I'll check the car radio. Well, nothing was wrong my smooth jazz station was gone! This is the second smooth jazz station to leave this area. Don't the owners realize there is a great need in this area for smooth jazz. I was hearing songs which I hadn't heard before. This hurts me to my core. I concur with the other listeners, please bring BACK SMOOTH JAZZ!
By: Sheila on July 9, 2019
Why? There are plenty of latino radio channels, and to shut down the only smooth jazz station is thoughtless and inconsiderate. Bring back the only jazz available WE WANT SMOOTH JAZZ. PLEASE!
By: GARY on July 11, 2019
Where can I find another smooth jazz station since you replaced it with Mexican Music?
By: Brooks Farrell on July 12, 2019
I turned on the radio and tuned to 102.9 and thought I was in Azteca! What happened to the GOOD music? We don't need anymore latino music!
By: Ceallaigh on July 23, 2019
Bring our music back. Smooth Jazz all the way. Nothing else will do.
By: RAGU on July 29, 2019
