What happened to the Progressive Talk programming on 1280? Lord knows there is enough country stations in the area and really do not need another one. Why you changed the programming is beyond my understanding. It amazes me that you have not changed the right wing crap, but God forbid if we have a different opinion to listen to instead the crazies. I listened to the progressive talk programming daily. I am really disappointed that this happened and will no longer listen to your station.

Thank goodness, another country station. At least this one is AM so if I feel the need to listen to country with poor reception and fidelity, I'm covered. Bad move. I won't be tuning back in.

I too was a daily listener to Progressive talk on AM1280. Please let us know when this stupid cruel joke is over so we can get back to hearing the informed opinions of Ed Schultz, Thom Hartmann, Randi Rhodes, and of course Mike Malloy! AM Country is a thing of the past!! Anyone who wants to listen to country music in our area has several FM stereo choices that are obviously better quality! Bring back Progressive talk now!

I was so disappointed when I turned on the radio this morning to listen to Stephanie Miller and found that the station was playing country music. What??!! We already have some great country stations in Spokane. Please bring back progressive talk. We need those voices to be heard...

It is so sad that clear channel has yet found another means of trying to destroy democratic thinking. But what can you expect when they already gave Rush limbaugh a $400 million contract. It is easy to see that they buy whomever they wish spreading their unscrupulous behavior and squelching any broadcasting of an ethical nature, squashing out all legitimate voices from being heard. Look out public television stations! Romney is after you next. Can't something be done to stop this?

Is this an early April Fool's joke? Like Spokane needs another country music station! We had ONE passable Progressive Radio station although you can't listen before 7 am or after six pm, plus they used this channel for games. And on the weekend we got a weird assortment of shows rather than Progressive Shows. Thanks for the info on where I can pick up the late, lamented line-up of Stephanie, Ed, Thom and Randi. These radio guys won't even answer their phone if you call to complain and there is no place to e-mail them that I have found. I work across the street from Clear Channel. Maybe I should start picketing!!

OMG! you have got to be kidding! Another country station? And on AM? Who is the right wing moron that came up with this brilliant idea? I listened to KPTQ for at least 7 hours a day and unless this turns out to be some stupid April fools joke, I will never listen again. This is extremely sad for all high information voters out there.

I really miss the classic country you were playing. The best county music in Spokane. I listened all day to the favorites of yesteryear and was glad to have found it. Now, it's just sport stuff, like we need more sports stations. Can you bring back the country music?

Is there anything more boring than to listen to a couple of wannabe jocks drone on endlessly about teams and personalities they know nothing about. It's mind numbing, or is that the purpose? The market is already saturated by sports talk who do you think is going to waste their brain cells on this? I used to listen to 1280 all day long to progressive radio, now it doesn't exist thank's to Bain Capital and Willard Romney. I'd rather hear static. I hope you lose a lot of money.
