i've noticed that, for the most part, the a.m. deejay plays "slow music";WHY is this?!? its bright, sunny;it would be nice to hear upbeat music instead of bored to tears by song after song of tired and slow.... and WHY can't your station play any jazz if the point is to slow you down?!? i spend the majority of the time flipping station to station trying to find up tempo music!everybody isn't depressed....

Jewel, WFUN plays Old School, and Current Rhythm and Blues. Don't ask them to go beyond their format. There are plenty of Jazz stations within the Metro MO/IL area. Maybe re-evaluate your musical interests. I am originally from the East coast(NYC/Boston)and since my stay here in the Midwest, I noticed how fast radio stations come and go. It's really sad that people around here are incapable of compromise. It appears that they do nothing around here but complain. So instead of giving suggestions trying to help, they bitch. My suggestion to WFUN, just keep on doing what you're doing. As long as you have the sponsors, you're doing fine. :-)
