Hello! I am sending this email in hopes that the wonderful people at WDAY could get the word out for me on an upcoming event. Kappa Psi is a Co-Ed Pharmaceutical Fraternity at NDSU and we will be having our first ever feed this October! As you may or may not know, many fraternities and sororities have feeds where they choose a certain theme and stick with it each year. The money raised at these feeds normally is donated to an organization of the fraternity/sorority's choice. For the first time ever, Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity will be having a feed! The event will be on October 19th from 5-7pm at the Lutheran Center just off NDSU's campus. "Fries with Kappa Psi’s” will be a gourmet fry bar with choices of many different fries and lots of various toppings depending on what you're craving! Tickets are $5 and all proceeds go to The Pinky Swear Foundation. The Pinky Swear Foundation is an amazing charity which helps children with cancer and their families both financially and with emotional support programs. The Pinky Swear Foundation has a unique Envelope Program where they pay the rent, groceries, or medical bills for a family whose child is suffering from cancer. They also host All-Star Weekends where the child and their family can take a break from the hospital and have an all-expense paid weekend getaway. The Pinky Swear Foundation is an organization our Fraternity is extremely proud to help support! This is an amazing cause and we need all the help we can get to let the community know about this awesome event! If you could please mention our wonderful event a few weeks before and then possibly the day of, I would greatly appreciate it! We are starting a tradition for our fraternity and we would love to get the word out! Supporting The Pinky Swear Foundation is an amazing cause and we are so thankful for your support!
