I just wanted to comment on the lousy job this station does sometimes. I recently was listening to the Super Bowl on this station, and all of a sudden, in the second quarter, this station cuts off its Compass Media broadcast of the game and goes to ESPN talking heads radio. This station has also done the same thing during other important sports events such as the World Series. What is going on here? It is understandable that a station would have certain contractual commitments as well as commitments to local sports coverage. But when coverage of a big sports event gets cut off like this, then the station looks amateurish. Look, if you can't cover the entire event, do not cover it at all!!!!!! That's what professional stations would do. When an event is cut off in midstream, the station is doing a gross disservice to its listeners.
