After 56 years (1967), I'm checking out what was then "KCOK 1270 Tulare" the offices of which were in another location. I worked from sign-on (0600 Local) until 2 PM. I engineered for the Morning Man (then Bob Staley) and actually inherited his morning show when he went to KERN. I then did the morning show as Gary Niles (miles and miles and miles of Niles!) and engineered. Then, after Network news at Noon, I presented 15 minutes of FARM News about which I knew NOTHING! Those were heady times in the late '60s! Is the station still on the air?
