PSA Announcement November 21st, from 10 AM- 3 PM there will be a Bake Sale to raise funds for the Casa Grande Senior Residents Food Bank. The address of the bake sale is 519 W Taylor St. in Santa Maria. This is close to the Broadway exit off and onto Hwy. 101. There is a light at Taylor. The gates will be open into the community and just drive straight to the clubhouse. There will be baked goods for diabetics also. All goodies containing nuts will be marked.

I am not optimistic that I will receive back any help... especially seeing only 2 comments and they date 2018 and 2015! I have also called the station twice over several weeks and left a message to which the voice promised to return my call. Nothing! The afternoon (we don't listen in the morning) broadcasts continually feature such strong static that the programs are un-listenable! Same thing happens on my car radio. I cannot believe the station folk are unaware of this. In fact, Andy Caldwell commented once about the poor reception. What gives?

Hey, KUHL! What’s your story? I found you listed under “Santa Maria Radio Stations” on the Internet, and it said your signal only went 2.5 miles!! The last time I checked, you were a FIVE KILOWATT STATION! If you’re only going 2.5 miles with 5,000 watts, that box full of coils and capacitors at the base of your 184-foot East Tower REALLY needs to be tuned. If that’s the case, I’m amazed the standing waves in your transmission line haven’t literally BLOWN UP your Harris MW-5A Transmitter!

WHY IS KUHL 1440 AM RADIO BROADCASTS SO FULL OF STATIC DURING ITS DAY AND NIGHT TIME BROADCASTS ? Here in Blacklake Village Golf Course, between Nipomo and the ocean, I started picking up intermiitent static in the station broadcasts about four and one half months ago. I left KUHL and switched to KSMA 1240 am radio. However, last night and again this morning, I checked KUHL radio again - only to hear imtermittent static in the broaadcasts. Sticking wwith KSMA!
