You guys are just wearing out that set of two commercials for Musicians On Call (MOC). They are played so much after midnight, 4 spots in a row, for almost every break. I And they are really bad commercials! They just want you to go to MOC's website to see what it is, while with as much airtime they have had, I should know all about whatever it is. Instead, I cringe when I hear the opening words to either spot. "...he was diagnosed with cancer... and he wanted to hear music... when right in the middle of this piece..." "...there was a young woman, probably the sickest..." If someone is paying for this exposure, they are getting cheated (50 spots per night, but all in the 6 hours from 11PM to 5AM!). Same if it is a PSA. Sometimes there IS bad exposure. Please get some better spots for MOC if you can, or for goodness sake, make one of your own. Good job for interns. A lousy info piece would be better than what you are running now. How about, "Musicians On Call is..." I used to work in a station, so I know how it is, I think.

I started listening to Michael Berry 7 years ago when I moved to Texas. Loved the show for quite a while but I'm really sick of the country music and musical trivia. Not everyone likes country music and it seems very self indulgent. I've heard him say many times to just "change the channel" which I'm about to do. I've heard others call in and complain about this very thing so I guess I'm not the only one who feels this way.

Hi. My name is Ben Roth and I am a Life Scout with Troop 1180 out of Woodlands, TX. I have volunteered at Montgomery County Animal Shelter for 3 years as a dog walker. I am working on my Eagle Scout Project which is to bring awareness to Montgomery County Animal Shelter and ask people to first check the shelter to see the hundreds of animals available for adoption. These loving animals need loving/responsible homes. All adoption fees are waived for MCAS for the month of December. If you are outside the MCAS/Conroe/Montgomery County area, perhaps, you could advertise animal shelter pertinent to your area. If Conroe is within your area maybe you could advertise it along with other areas. As you know, Houston and surrounding areas were hit hard this year by Harvey. The stray/displaced animal population followed suit. We are asking help to reduced the number of cats & dogs. The "I Play.com" stupid commercials which have been running during the last 4-6 weeks are killing me. They are so irritating. I am a huge KTRH listener whether in my home or in my vechiles. When these commercials are aired I will either turn my radios down so I don't have to hear them or tune to another station. I realize this must be a good ad client for KTRH, but man, "I Play.com" needs to find a new writer to come up with a different/better commercial. No way does this commercial make me want to try their product, if anything makes me want to totally avoid it. I'm willing to bet I am not the only listener, who feels this way. Can't imagine who in the company with "I Play.com" thought these were winners!

Fri., May 18, 2018. Please do not schedule a Houston Rockets game at the same time that a Houston Astros game is scheduled. I like to listen to the entire length of each game both Rockets and Astros. I cannot do so when both team games are scheduled to be played at the same time. Schedule to play each team game at separate times of a day so the radio listener can listen to the entire length of each team game. Thank you, listener Clark Ordas.

The Michael Berry Show is a variety show. More of variety on what music, food and restaurants he likes. Seems he talks more about music than today’s politics. He’ll be telling a story then go off into left field. He’s easily distracted. Talks too much about himself and how his life is awesome. When I first moved to Houston in 1981, 740AM was my mainstay for many commuting hours for many years because of traffic, weather and nonpartisan straight reporting on the major issues. Now, every issue is raised with an overt or implicit political agenda. I'm tired of. Why can't you just go back to reporting the news without trying to push your political views? Michael Berry and Shara Fryer (who I used to watch on local ABC TV) are unlistenable. I just want a local channel that is unbiased.
