Hello,
My husband and I are from St. Joseph and currently serve as missionaries for an orphanage in Guatemala called Casa de Mi Padre through Child Rescue, an organization based in south St. Joseph. I would like to share some information about a fundraiser we have at Panera Bread next Thursday, Aug. 30, and am wondering if you might be able to share about it on your station. Here are the details:
Enjoy delicious food while benefiting children in Guatemala at the Casa de Mi Padre children's home! Make plans to dine-in or pick up an order at Panera between 4-8 pm on Thursday, August 30th!
You must bring in the flyer found on our Facebook page (search coleandsarahm) or you can also show it on your phone.
Invite your friends and make an even bigger impact on kids' lives!
Husband and wife Cole and Sarah McCauley, who both grew up in St. Joseph, serve as missionaries for Child Rescue.
The ministry of Child Rescue is to provide refuge and shelter for needy children coming from poverty, shattered homes, abandonment, or who are orphaned through death. Casa De Mi Padre (My Fatherās House) childrenās home is located in Santa Cruz, Del Quiche, Guatemala, Central America. Although the country is ecologically beautiful, poverty is particularly wide spread throughout the countryside and large intercity areas. Illiteracy, infant mortality, and malnutrition are among the highest in the region, while life expectancy is the lowest. Child Rescue meets the physical needs of children in order to have the opportunity to meets their spiritual needs. Child Rescue has established Casa De Mi Padre childrenās home where children will receive hope, stability, food, clothing, shelter, family, schooling, solid Biblical instruction, and living examples of Godās love.
If you have questions or are having trouble finding the flyer, please contact Sarah at coleandsarahm@gmail.com or 816-261-2926.
