Texas broadcasting legend Dave Ward grew up in Huntsville before eventually making his way to Houston to launch a 60-year career in radio and primarily TV broadcasting. On Friday June 8th from 2-4pm, Dave will be at the First Baptist Church where his father the Rev. Henry Ward served as pastor during the 1940s to sign copies of Dave's newly released autobiography, GOOD EVENING, FRIENDS. In it, Dave shares stories of his childhood in Huntsville and his record-setting career as the longest serving anchor at one of America's most successful local news stations. Hope to see everyone there!
