First time I picked up your station and the 50s music is what K-earth use to play back in the 60s. I hope I can continue to get this station, I thank you for playing this music, nobody plays this. A wish has been answeredđ

Hello,
We are holding a fundraising event and would like to know if you can give it a shout out and share the event with your local listeners. Here is some info:
âNewport 4 ALSâ
ALS Association Charity Fundraiser
Join us in giving back to those that need it most!
When: June 11th
Time: 6pm till 8pm
Where: 1220 Bison Ave., Suites A6 & A7
Who: Newport Beach Skin Care Center & Sole Comfort Shoes are holding this event
Why: The ALS Association Orange County Chapter cares for over 160 ALS patients or PALS (person with ALS), many of whom are veterans, Military Veterans are twice as likely to develop ALS, whether they served at home or abroad during war or peace, from World War II to Afghanistan.
The progressive degeneration of the motor neurons in ALS eventually leads to their death. When the motor neurons die, the ability of the brain to initiate and control muscle movement is lost. With voluntary muscle action progressively affected, patients in the later stages of the disease may become totally paralyzed.
o On average the life expectancy for a patient is 2-5 years after diagnosis, and because of the loss of mobility and speech that comes with this terminal disease the costs can sky rocket above $200,000 a year.
o These costs included walkers, wheelchairs, motorized chairs, medical beds, patient lifts, home renovations for handicap accessibility, ramps, breathing equipment, communication devices and 24 hour care.
o The ALS Association Orange County Chapter works to provide these essential tools and psychological support for both the patients and their families.
o Unfortunately, right now their equipment loan program consists of only second hand and refurbished equipment.
o With your help we can update and expand their equipment and give their patients the resources they need to live a full life.
We invite you to participate in the June 2015 ALS-POS donation program
&/or Donate a silent auction Service or Item
Businesses involved are advertising that during June they will donate with mention of ALS, a percentage of each sale back to ALS-OC Association. We are listing these businesses on the sponsor page of the âNewport for ALSâ website. There are many, many companies providing email and social media distribution as well and yours can be another sponsor! Also if you have a product or service you can donate for the silent auction portion of the June 11th event please contact organizer: Cheryl Andrea, cheryl@nbskincarecenter.com| |949.355.4215 cell for further details regarding either sponsorship and for inclusion on sponsor page of site.
Well that sums it up in a nutshell. I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Regards
Cheryl Andrea
