KRSB is an FM radio station broadcasting at 103.1 MHz. The station is licensed to Roseburg, OR. The station broadcasts Country music programming.

This email is for Wayne, the D.J. that was on the air about 12 noon this past Thursday. Wayne, you are not only offensive to your listeners, but you are badly misinformed, and you are dangerously misinforming your listeners through your lack of knowledge. Today, you told your listeners that it was O.K. for people to not wear masks if they were willing to take the risk. In addition, you said that people who became irate because others are not masking were being unreasonable. You continued that if they want to wear mask, then they are protected against the people who are not wearing masks. Then you said, so why are these "dummies" upset. The dummies are protected by wearing the masks, and the others are willing to take the risk. So no harm, no foul. Wayne, you are the misinformed dummy! The people who wear the masks are the ones that are being courteous to the others. The masks are for the protection of others -- not the wearer. The wearer is not protected -- the other guy that comes in contact with the wearer is the one protected. The non-wearer is the culprit here. He is exposing both wearers and non-wearers to possible infection if he is a carrier. Wayne, if you are to become irate and indignant about a subject, at least attempt to read up on the subject to become well versed on any perspective you wish to deliver. Right now, you need to go to the CDC and WHO web sites and read up on the utilization of masks for COVID-19 to determine why wearers are upset with non-wearers. You lack of education that you are disseminating over the airways is appalling and criminal. You should be fired. Laugh that one off "dummy."
