Hi. My name is Ben Roth and I am a Life Scout with Troop 1180 out of Woodlands, TX. I have volunteered at Montgomery County Animal Shelter for 3 years as a dog walker.
I am working on my Eagle Scout Project which is to bring awareness to Montgomery County Animal Shelter and ask people to first check the shelter to see the hundreds of animals available for adoption. These loving animals need loving/responsible homes. All adoption fees are waived for MCAS for the month of December.
If you are outside the MCAS/Conroe/Montgomery County areas, perhaps, you could advertise animal shelter pertinent to your area.
As you know, Houston and surrounding areas were hit hard this year by Harvey. The stray/displaced animal population followed suit. We are asking help to reduced the number of cats & dogs.
I am happy to help if I can and you can reach me through my Father at the E-mail address provided. I can supply shelter hours.
Thank you for your consideration.
Happy Holidays.
Respectfully,
Ben Roth

Seeking assistance tohelp a friend in need. Struggling since Hurricane Harvey flooded her home and damaged somuch, she is now facing foreclosure and has many animals that need to be fostered, or else, a farm/ranch type of situation where she can shelter miniature horses. She needs a fenced yard and out buildings for the mini horses. On top of being scammed for insurance money, etc. after the hurricane, she has also recently lost a parent. Please, if anyone could do a human interest story on this woman and help her get some exposure/assistance, it would be greatly appreciated. Here is her story, in her own words.: Hi, I am facing eviction in Shepherd Texas and I also rescue cats. I have mini horses and dogs as well and I can not find a place to live for rent or lease and am desperate for help. I am not sure how much more time I have but I have been slowly downsizing my cat rescue with very little outside help. I am trying to find a home with land that is fenced so at least I can take my 4 mini horses and dogs and as many of my cats as I can but I NEED HELP DESPERATELY. Can anyone there help me and my fur babies??? her situation is dire. Help needed as soon as possible. Thank you. Thank you Juels Yaklin

The woman below, Patty Uck-Sierra' s dog RICKY BOBBY a brindle Pitt went missing the 12th of Nov. Her pleas have reached a huge number of people in the community and they helped raise $600 dollars. The money was to bring in pet tracker Paula Welch, whose dog Nugget gained recognition when he found Frank the missing Bulldog after the Hurricanes several years ago. Paula Welch is a retired Texas Detective and is traveling 5 1/2 hours from Eden to come help find Ricky Bobby. Tonight Patty received a call from a woman saying she had Ricky Bobby and had a picture of him to confirm it. When Patty raced over to the woman’s home, the woman said a lady drove up to her while she waiting with Ricky Bobby, she was a light skinned black woman in a Silver car, and she took Ricky Bobby just moments before her true owner Patty arrived. Patty is devastated, Ricky Bobby is a therapy dog with an interesting back story. The community in Humble has shown such an outpouring of support as well as the on line community of lost and found pet helpers, that a story on the news might help bet Ricky Bobby back. PLEASE PLEASE CONSIDER RUNNING it.... we need a happy ending to this as a community. This woman STOLE RICKY BOBBY and he needs to be returned. Your RADIO station could be the CATALYST that makes it happen!

· LOST DOG ***11/12/19 Cypresswood Pointe community, Humble, TX 77338*** I would be lying if I said I was ok... Ricky Bobby has been missing for 24 hrs now in freezing temperatures. He isn’t just a dog to us. He’s family. Ricky B has been a therapy dog, sago palm poisoning survivor, and simply put a “good dog”. Please please please if anyone has him or knows of someone who has him please have them call me. 407-361-1888.
