KONO is an AM radio station broadcasting at 860 KHz. The station is licensed to San Antonio, TX and is part of that radio market. The station broadcasts Oldies music programming. KONO is owned by Cox Radio.

Dear Friends of the Deutsche Weihnachtsfeier: We would like to invite you and your friends/associates to the 112th Annual German Christmas Candlelight Celebration-“Die Deutsche Weihnachtsfeier”. The Weihnachtsfeier will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 11, 2016 in the Margaret B. Parker Chapel at Trinity University. This celebration is a cultural as well as a religious event and is ecumenical in participation. There is no sermon, and this event is conducted entirely in the German language. The Christmas Story is simply told through Scripture, prayers, German Christmas poetry, congregational and choral singing and instrumental music. Both the Beethoven Maennerchor and the San Antonio Liederkranz choirs perform, and Dr. David Heller, the Trinity University organist, accompanies them. Over the years, this has become one of the most important German Christmas celebrations in our multi-cultural San Antonio area. “Die Deutsche Weihnachtsfeier”, is open to the public, and admission is absolutely free. The Weihnachtsfeier usually lasts about 75-90 minutes.
