Was a nice oldies station; not anymore. Now they play hip hop and new rock. No more oldies stations in OKC I guess.

I lived in OKC from 1969 to 2015 and the ONLY radio station I listened to was Classic Rock on KOMA, FM 92.5. I moved to Texas but now I’m back and ABSOLUTELY HATE what they’ve done to KOMA!! No more 50’s or 60’s, the BEST years of rock and roll. Now it’s only 70’s and 80’s music, some of which is OK but i REALLY hate hip hop, rap, and some of the music they’re playing now. If i was in my car for 30 minutes or 2 hours, you can bet Jimmy Buffet and Margaritaville would play. No more REALLY good golden oldies. There were so many hits and great bands from the 60’s. NO MORE BEATLES??????? No more Roy Orbison, Elton John, The Mamas and the Papas, The Rolling Stones, the Supremes, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, Elvis Presley, Mitch Rider and the Detroit Wheels, the Hollies, the Monkees, Paul Revere and the Raiders, Simon and Garfunkel, Beach Boys, Jan and Dean, Billy Joel, The Who,and the list goes on and on. Well, I no longer listen to KOMA. The day I turned it off permanently a stupid hip hop song came on and that did it for me!!! I have now deleted the station setting on my car and just listen to CD’s whenever I go anyplace. I just got a Nielsen survey for radio stations and can’t wait to trash KOMA!!! I absolutely hope your radio station goes under……that’s what you deserve for ruining the best radio station I have ever listened to. RIP KOMA!!!!

1960's-1980's, KOMA was a 50,000 Watt Clear Channel on 1520 AM with ALL those HOF Musical Acts. It was the unforgettable Okla-KOMA City Station ( simulcasting on 92.5 FM, starting in the 1990's ? ). It is Now more typical 21st Century TRASH Music Radio ! NOTHING there to listen to.

I grew up listening to KOMA while my best girl sat next to me in my car which I spent pay check after pay check preparing my girl to host me and what later became my wife to drag the loop in Leadville. The car is long gone, but my wife still sits next to me after 56 of marriage. Now welcome the mystic moments we had once again with KOMA.
