Greetings We are Native American Training and Technical Assistance (NATTA), a parent-based community organization. NATTA is one of the very few Native American consulting trainers in the developmental disabilities community. We are the recipient of a year-long Disparity Grant, funded in conjunction with Far Northern Regional Center and the Department of Developmental Services. Our mission is to create in-roads to accessing services for Native Americans with special needs by providing four conferences and four focus-group workshops in nine northern counties. The Wounded Eagle conference objective is to provide information to increase knowledge and access of services for Native American individuals with disabilities, their families, and communities.  DATE: July 17th, 2018  PLACE: Holiday Inn Express, 707 Montague Rd, Yreka Ca. 96097  TIME: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please RSVP as seating is limited. Refreshments and lunch will be provided. Free admission to conference. We have developed a full group of knowledgeable speakers who will address key topics within service areas for the Disabilities Services. There will be information available to the attendees, of services provided to our communities with the disabilities. • Native American Training & Technical Assistance (NATTA) • Spotted Eagle Day Program • Far Northern Regional Center • State Council on Developmental Disabilities • Disability Rights, California • Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program (HICAP) • Rowell Family Empowerment of Northern California Our conferences and workshops will be at no cost to you or your tribe, workshops will be centers of Native Communities in a rural setting.
