I have finally had enough with the christain radio stations in this city. Their evangelism is fueled by hate, regardless of how often they insist it's God's love. I don't have an iPod, so I channel surf in my car and every once in a while I think, yeah, I'll listen to this theologian discussion, and maybe enlightenment will follow. Yet alas, every time I listen to this dribble my blood begins to boil. These radio jockeys preach that their listeners must help them to put an end to gay marriage, to homosexuality, they pray that one day a cure will be found for homosexuals, and they fight for abortions illegalization, because even babies born from rape are blessings from God. In your self absorbed, self righteous, close minded bubbles you have created for yourselves you have failed to recognize that if rape babies are a blessing, then so can be considered abortion clinics. It sad, yes, but no woman Wants to have an abortion. It is already a difficult decision and it is You creating a rift between Christians and the uncertain. Open your eyes and see that their are far bigger problems in this world that could be solved and as a result, would make the world a better place if you would focus just Half of the energy you spend on blacklisting groups of people on doing, I don't know, community service, finding better ways to feed the hungry, finding better homes for foster children, and I could go on all day. The christain community is a strong one, to say the least. But shame on you for distracting these good people with hateful ideologies and messages. There is a public service announcement pleading with listeners to come together to make Home Depot stay neutral in the "war" against gay equality. You do realize war is a negative term, yes? And to declare war against a group of people is not a Christlike practice. Unless you believe that the knights of the Templar were just in killing millions of people on the Crusades. Your ideals are outdated, in the christain world and in our world. Leviticus laws are obsolete to modern day Christains. You are using verses from the bible to push your own personal agendas. And Jesus did not associate only with the rich and the morally clean. On the contrary, his closest companions were sinners, the likes of which today would make your skin crawl. And in the bible it also says do not judge last ye be judged tenfold. So who are you to condemn any group of people on a public radio station? Shame on you. I want to believe in God, but your straight, chauvanist, hateful, white American god has no place in my heart. And you should be taken off the air for spouting unjust propaganda.
