This is not a military family however it is a local family in great need it is a mother with terminal leukemia and has 3 small children a girl Kodi 8 yrs old a boy Carter 6yrs old and Ryder a boy who is 4 yrs old. She is going to try a bone marrow transplant in hopes of a chance however she will be in the hospital for months and will not be allowed to see her children or the children will not see her until some time next year depending on the outcome of her cancer. The family is in great need of gas cards food clothing and Christmas toys. This mother will be spending most of this time alone in the hospital due to lack of reliable transportation and lack of gas money she was a full time worker before falling ill a year and a half ago and due to medical bills and losing an income it has become impossible for this family fighting for hope during the holidays her name is Alexis Hebert an is only 30 yrs old. This family is worried that she will lose her battle alone. She has been turned down for disability two times already and even her lawyer doesn't understand if dying doesnt qualify you what does. Please consider donating a day to try to get donations for this dying mother and her 3 young children. Address is 1110 n. Grant Dr. Sherman tx 75092 phone number for nearest relatives 903-744-1744 thanks in advance

Good morning! My daughter and I locally own the JBF (Just Between Friends of Sherman-Denison) Children's Consignment Sale franchise. We would love for you to help us get the word out letting local moms know about our sale! Our first sale week was June 11-13. As planned (spreading the sale dates out to adjust for complying with Covid-19 restrictions), over 30 of our consignors re-stocked our event on Monday night, June 15th, with hundreds more outdoor toys, bicycles, play equipment and tons more kids clothes in anticipation of round two! The second phase of our summer sale will begin this Thursday, June 18th at First Baptist Church, Denison and run Thursday 6/18 and Friday 6/19 will all newly stocked merchandise; then, Friday 6/19 from 5-8 pm and Saturday 6/20 8am to 4pm all items without a star on the tag will be half price. Again, we will be at First Baptist Church, Denison gym, 601 W. Woodard St. Moms in our community need this sale as kids outgrow things fast. Local families can sell new and gently used items (clothing, toys, baby equipment, maternity, etc) and shop for the same items that they need. It is a semi-annual sale that we host, all the while abiding by the 50% capacity and safety rules and restrictions for our sale.
We would love to have you help us advertise our event, helping us get the word out to local families they can shop for 50% to 90% off retail at our sales! Leftover items at the end of the sale are donated to Kid's Closet of Bonham, Texas, helping kids and families less fortunate than ours. Our website with sale details is sherman.jbfsale.com.
