This radio station is atrocious. The commentators are hatefilled, homophobic, racist bigots who do nothing but spread disinformation, fear and hatred.
This station is dangerous and should be done away with.

Thank you for bringing the Catechism into our homes, cars, and hearts. Catholic radio has helped me become a better mother and wife.

As a member of both the Christian and LGBT community I have never felt as thouroughly bashed, torn to shreds, or disgusted as I was listening to 89.9 this afternoon.. I happened upon it skipping through stations looking for Christmas music. She was arguing against a gay couple who had sued a baker for not making their wedding cake due to religious beliefs, and although I agree they should have understood his stand and beliefs and found someone else to make their cake.. she did not have to demean the whole lgbt community the speaker called us nasty names and spoke as though we were the vilest of people, scum who had no belief systems, no attachment to church, no attachment or mind of Jesus or love of god.. it was truly sad. I've been accepted by so many christians even though they know I'm gay.. this speaker I think she said her name was Kate? You can make your point without bashing people to make your point.. where is your morality? Your humility? Wwjd? I think he'd be disappointed...
sorry if anything is miss spelled I'm in tears for the first time in a long while over this subject.. it's truly sad people are so filled with hatred and who call themselves Christians can laugh on radio while bashing their fellow christians just because we are different from you. Let God be my judge not you

Dear Upset Listener,
Know that God loves you. Homosexuality is a verb, not a noun. You are a child of God if Jesus in your heart and been baptized, but you are choosing to indulge in homosexuality. Just like the other verbs, lying, stealing, cheating and so on. Pray, ask for forgiveness, turn from the sin of homosexuality. It is not who you are but what you choose to do. Be encouraged!

I found this station randomly 2 years ago & have benefited from the solid Biblical teachings of people like Alistair Begg, Jeff Shreve, Ravi Zacharia, and others. I also enjoy some of the commentary programs (Airing the Addisons, Hamilton Corner, Breakpoint, Wretched Radio are examples of this.) I don't always agree with every word being said, but that's a good thing. If a comment drives me to the Bible to clarify my position, that's a net gain. I certainly wouldn't support censoring another's viewpoint because I don't agree with it. THAT would be more dangerous than anything a commentator could say. Every device has an off button.
Thank you, KLGS, for bringing us AFR Talk.
