Human Resource Department: I am currently Director of the Day Habilitation Program at Monroe County Professional Management in Albia, Iowa. My staff and myself are Direct Care Givers to Adult Individuals with Special Needs. Our individuals are diagnosed with some type of disability including mental retardation, autism, Down syndrome, blind, deaf, etc. We are having a benefit soup supper and auction at the Eagles Club in Albia, Iowa on February 18th, 2017. We are not asking for cash, rather we are needing donations for our benefit auction. All proceeds will benefit all adults with special needs that attend our day habilitation program. This is to provide for our individuals to be able to do more activities throughout the year in different communities as well as needs for them including wheel chairs, walkers, braille books for the blind etc. All donations will be greatly appreciated.
