Listener Comments and Reviews
Who ever is running this station must be sleeping most of the time. I have never seen a station that had so much dead air time.
The only good programing you have is at night when George Noory is on the air or one of his fill in's.
Your right wing crap doing the day is so prejudiced against the American people and for the rich that it is disgusting.

Hey, what happened to the Mike Bastinelli show from 3-6pm in the afternoons?? I was ALWAYS able to learn about LOCAL events and issues important to us and the valley. Now there is just another national political show on instead. I have half listened, and am bored by it (too much of the SAME stuff...) and will not listen to it anymore. Will listen to Jerry Doyle maybe or just my CD's instead!

I like to listen to Sean Hannity on 1280 AM weekday afternoons, 12-3 p.m. Now the station is entirely covered up by a regional Mexican station, probably (not 100 % sure), 1320 AM. Grandview is in Yakima County, far from Yakima proper. But I can no longer listen. There go your advertisers and listeners. Tell 1320 to cool their jets.

Larry,
The regional Mexican station you might be referring to is 1310 KZXR, which is in Grandview. Also, if a station 30 khz away (1310-1280) is causing that much interference, it could be that your dial or tuner has gone bad. Also, depending on the time of day, there could be a farther out Spanish station on 1280 (KBNO Denver comes to mind) that bounces by skywave and screws up a local signal.
Hope this helps,
ZBG

Larry,
I just talked to someone who's from Ellensburg, WA, and they could confirm it was 1310 KZXR causing the problems.
Have a nice day,
