Saturday is National Miniature Golf Day
—and “unofficial” national holiday!
A great time to get out and enjoy a wild, crazy family-friendly game.
Lowell/Rogers, AR: A great day out for the family, and an excuse to sharpen up your putting skills all in one fun trip!. Get yourself down to the putting greens at Golf Mountain Mini Golf for National Miniature Golf Day! Watch out for the rushing/winding blue water that runs through the 36 different holes in a botanical garden setting. “Each hole has it’s own unique challenge, with just the right amount of water hazards, rough turf, dips and contours to make each hole unique and challenging…it’s never the same game twice!”, says owner, Cindy Lester. The uniqueness of this sport is that is great for all ages, 1 to 91, adds David Lester, Owner.
History:
Mini golf has been around for more than 100 years, originally known as “chip and putt,” regulation golf’s short game. Mini Golf or Putt-Putt Golf is an offshoot of golf focusing on the putting aspect of its parent game.
Because it’s easy for anyone to play, mini golf has become hugely popular, especially in the summer months and at vacation spots around the country. What’s better than a trip to you’re favorite Shaved Ice and a round of mini golf?
Celebrate National Mini Golf day in Lowell/Rogers with your favorite mini golf course that can show just how wild, crazy and fun the game can be.
About:
Golf Mountain Mini Golf was built by local residents, David & Cindy Lester and opened August 2010. It is located next to Fast Lanes Bowl on 1115 N. Dixieland Street, Lowell, AR 72745. We would be happy to donate some passes if you would like to have some to give away for this holiday! :)
