Hi. I'm writing to you not because I listen to your station, but because I understand you are a religious station, and someone I know living in Palacios believed deeply in the existence of an all mighty God, but I don't. Two men I know grew up in Bay City, TX were drinkers. One lived in Bay City all his life, and the other one had periodically lived in Florida as an adult but is in Palacios now. They were very close friends since childhood, and Jim, in Palacios now is a firm believer in God but lately he has had a lot of troubles. He has had a colostomy for most of last ten years since his second wife left him. You might think it is none of my business because I'm not related to him, but I had the good fortune of meeting him nine years ago when I attempted suicide, and his faith brought me out of bad hopelessness. I'd like to believe there is a loving God! I think that Jim and his friend could return to their wives and Jim and his wife could recover from their ailments...Jim said his wife is dying. I don't live in Texas anymore. I don't think that it will work to mention their names on the air or my names. I just pray in my own way that their families will come out of the mire and mine too... - Signed-Don't know how miracles come about, but hoping very much for a recovery.
