KHJ FM BOSS Radio is a great station to listen to favorite songs from the 60s-80s. I love when they play TV theme songs and the whistle from The Flintstones at 5 pm each day!

Hello, I'm an avid listener to the programming on KHJ and was wondering if there is occasional request line or message available. I'm also a longtime listener of the Dr Demento show and have several recordings of humorous tracks fron the 50's through the 80's if your office is interested I could pass along. Keep on rockin'

Love the sound. Always listen when I’m in town. My daughter lives in Albany.
Been in radio since early 70’s worked for Drake at KYNO in Fresno. Appreciate the memories.
On with the hits.

Great Radio 📻 Retired radio guy living in Albany. Worked at Boss Radio 13/KYNO mid 70’s listening takes me back. We’ll be listening and I’ll tell my wife, I played that as a current.
On with the countdown...

Was listening to the station this morning, and there was an "expert" talking about the coronavirus, specifically about "herd immunity". He said we are all overlooking the "fact" that we are at almost complete herd immunity....um, we have had 30 million cases in the U.S., and the population is around 328 million...thats slightly less than 10%. How is 10% considered even close to "herd immunity"? It's a decent low power station, with great tunes...but there's really some nutty, far right rhetoric on this station. And "Chicken Man"? Dumbest thing ever. I change the channel whenever there's anything but music.

I'm guessing you're having server problems. Keep hearing Bobby Goldsboro's Autumn of my Life, G.Simmons haunted House, What I Think is The Lettermen version of A Summer Place, Billy joe Royal's Down in the Boondocks, Lennon's Imagine (still remember the album burnings by the Churchs around the country when that hit the air waves) and there's a few others I can't remember right off hand. Remember, listener fatigue is a thing, explains why the old Hot Hits format died a screaming mangled death. On the positive side the weekend programming is pretty solid. I like the news breaks, and the inspirational interludes, though I tend to lean agnostic, are based on positive messaging which to me is great. I miss the days of real radio, Local announcers were a mainstay in their communities and for the most part bringing a little fun to the listeners that tuned in.
I suppose you're doing the best you can do with what you have to work with. But that Fatigue thing I mentioned earlier is really starting to take hold. Wish you all the best, I'll hang on as long as I can, as my old boss said, We don't play the Hits, we make the Hits...
