KHCR 99.5 FM Radio Station Information

KHCR is an FM radio station broadcasting at 99.5 MHz. The station is licensed to Bismarck, MO. The station broadcasts Gospel Music programming.

When your station went on the air some Thursday night years ago it was stereo and50,000 watts. Your map shows me in the fringe area but came in good with need a clean stereo. I am on the northern corridor Hwy 30, which also includes Cedar Hill. High Ridge. House Springs where I live. I listened sometimes. Then your stereo messed up and you never got more equipment. It appears you spliced both channels. That is slightly better than mono. Like High Fi. Since that happened you guys got more commercials than before and a lot more at night. Thought you could fix that stereo with more commercials. I don't listen to you hardly now. Maybe I should check your feed on the internet. Wikipedia has you at 4500 or something. You shouldn't get the word stereo with only that power. They are not always correct. There is now a low power station on your frequency in St. Louis. They don't come here. Hope you can increase stereo and if your power went down and I listen again.

Do you play local talent gospel music CD's? My brother made a CD a few years ago and I would like to share it with others so they also can be blessed and encouraged by the words of the music and songs. He wrote all the songs himself and produced the music. I would love for you to play the CD on your station. If possible please let me know.

Have been listening to your station for a little over a year. Enjoy the gospel music very much. Thank you. Feel fortunate to be able to pick it up since we are here on Union, Mo.
