I love the different kinds of music on this station,
Hendrix, Bad Company, and even big band era stuff - it is truly a awesome radio station!

This radio station is amazing! I wish we got it in Portland/Clackamas. We've been enjoying the variety and the quality of the songs. Best radio I've ever had the pleasure of listening to! I second all the "how are you funded?" questions. No commercials or annoying talk radio. Is there a way to donate $? I'd especially love to contribute if there was some minimum that got me a sticker so I could rep and help advertise with a bumper sticker or something.

I LOVE this station. All different kinds of music. Is there a way to stream online? Donate also? Keep up the great work!

We've been listening to kdoa - The Dalles for past year and it's so wonderful, the variety of quality tunes is amazing! We keep our radio dial honed in to kdoa when at home or driving in The Dalles. The tunes played are constantly changing, like another listener mentioned, like having a multi-disc player on shuffle and you never quite no what song will play next, from classic country to classic rock, reggae or Latin jazz even old punk and new wave, Sinatra, and the list goes on... we love kdoa - The Dalles! Please stay on the air and let us know if there's any way we can help support the station to keep it on the air here in The Dalles, OR! What a gem! Thank you people at koda for bringing us some well needed quality community radio to - The Dalles, OR. Your biggest fan, Annie K -The Dalles

I second everything Annie said, above. This is the best station, I've heard in decades. Really eclectic programming. I wish I could stream it.

Do you publish a playlist anywhere? I heard a song about a week ago that I really liked. The guitar sounded like Santana. They lyrics included references to Africa. I thought the title might be something like "Allez" but could not find it on Youtube. Would like it if you posted a playlist somewhere. Thanks

Love your programing. I'm 71 years old, & am wondering if the person coming up with playlist is that age or older? Would like to recommend a song, called Pata Pata from 60's by Miriam Makeba, also obvious child & diamonds on the soles of her shoes by Paul Simon. Think they would be good fit.

Love the station and would like to find a playlist as there are a few artists/songs I can't identify.

I know you’ve heard it countless times, but is there any chance you’ll be streaming anytime soon? Are you streaming now and I just don’t know how to find you online?
Your station has without question THE BEST selection/programming of any ‘eclectic mix’ station I’ve ever heard, surpassing by far even Radio Paradise.
Stumbled upon you driving through Oregon last fall, and have missed you ever since..
STREAM PLEEEAASE!

Just discovered your station [KDOA 101.5 FM, The Dalles, OR], and had a couple of questions.
1] It appears that you have no advertising, and the only spoke material is the station identification at FCC prescribed intervals. Can you share how you are funded>
2] It appears that the music you broadcast is in the 'public domain', i.e., the station does not need to pay royalties. Is that correct?
It is nice to have a commercial free music station, and the eclectic mix of music you provide.
By: David on April 26, 2018
where did you go???? where can I find your music?
So Sad!
By: lillian herbert on June 12, 2018
I feel like I've stumbled into a local spot. Im from Virginia and working out here. Please start streaming this station. I'd pay yearly if you promise to not mess it up or change anything. The people that advertise on here lie because they don't carry this station. If possible please tell me how I can take ya'll home. Forever.

Good variety, but still hearing Christmas music in February and I’ve started to hear the same sequences of music. Obviously robot radio.

Did I just hear Squirrel give the station call sign? It would be great to get the Friday nite show back again, but I hope the current format doesn't get sacrificed on this station. Long live the mighty. KDOA!
By: Jimbo from Bingen on June 5, 2019
Love it ! Thank you!
By: Shelley Huff on June 16, 2019
Been listening to this station since you first came on air. Despite a couple of 6-month periods when you were off the air for unknown reasons, you are still my fav. Hearing Squirl was a surprise! Now I need to know how to stream it, even tho' it is more canned than before (jive radio).

I'm looking for the blues song that was programmed 10/01/19 with the lyrics " I built myself a prison, but forgot to make a key". I'm interested in the artist's name etc:. Anybody know? I can't seem to find a way to talk to anyone at the station,
By: Anonymous on November 4, 2019
I have loved the station for years, but it seems to have changed what was great, and now seems more like a zydeco, country swing, blues show. Kinda like the old local blues shows that came to an end, but without the endless political snark.. Some great stuff, but it gets old quick.
I miss the Elvis/Zeppelin/Sinatra/Little Richard/Motown/60s folk/big band, etc., and huge variety of the original format that my friends were raving about.
I rarely listen anymore.
