Come and see how we can collectively impact the lives of children in our communities ages birth to five years of age so they are prepared to begin school healthy and ready to go.
Please RSVP to Judith Schmitt by August 15, 2011 via email, cell phone or office all listed below. Please share with anyone from the community you see fit. I would be more than glad to speak to anyone who may have questions.
Hope to see you there,

KDAP FM is not too bad even though it is in a backwards town full of un-educated people. The owner works hard to make a good radio station.

There is a big rumor going around that the 3 main radio stations (KTAN, KZMK & KWCD) in Sierra vista are for sale. The rumor says that the KZMK and KWCD will be moving to the Yuma area once the new owners get approval from the FCC. The second half of this rumor is that if those two stations move out of the Sierra Vista area, KDAP will petition the FCC to move to Sierra Vista.

On November 20th Mr. Howard Henderson, owner of KDAP-FM passed away. Mr. Henderson has owned and operated this station for over 30 years. He was more than an owner, he was also very active on air. He ran one of the last community oriented radio stations. KDAP served the Douglas area by being active in the community, not just playing music and commercials. It is to soon to tell if his family will continue running the station or whether it will be sold. We all hope the community orientation will continue in the future. Our condolences go out to Mr. Henderson's entire family.

I hope KDAP stays the same and does not change. If it is sold now the owner has passed, I hope the new owners realize what this station means to Douglas

Thank you KDAP for keeping "old" county alive. I started listening to country in the early 80's. It is wonderful to hear music I grew up with alongside the new songs. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
