I heard some comments between 8:30 & 9am today about the interstate highway system that Eisenhower's administration proposed and Congress authorized. The rationale of the commentators that the interstate highway system be built by the federal government was the availability of state funds was insufficient and federal tax dollars were needed. As a point of history, the rationale for the interstate highway system was directly related to national security and military defense. As a General, Eisenhower saw that the size of our country and lack of a national highway system made the U.S. vulnerable and ill-prepared for self-defense were we to be attacked by other countries, especially the Soviet Union. It is imperative to be able to move military supplies and munitions quickly from one area of the country to another and to provide mass evacuation routes for private citizens at such times. So the facts that the country benefits in peace time from the highway system and it promoted tremendous growth of commerce are really incidental to the original, intended purpose and have nothing to do with the idea that federal tax revenues were more available or needed or with a political philosophy, Conservative, Libertarian or otherwise. None of us can know everything about everything but I did want to offer this bit of information. I generally enjoy listening to KCOL.

i need help arresting some police and firemen from huntington beach california my neighbors have been stalking me and attacking me since i was a child and now im 46 in colorado being poisoned to death by my xhusband and his friends from work i have been kidnapped raped torcherd attacked and all my belongings destroyed i have property by knotts berry farm retirements and i had a job i have two sons with carlos aguilar my parents started the attack the firemen that my father knew supplied the poison and other stuff to attack me with while i slept or shot it in my face i am staying at motel six on 49 39 and kipling where i am stalked by blacks and mexicans who work for my dad and my brother greg neff knows them all his next door nighbor is the family that have attacked me non stop for the last 8 years and i need help to have them arrested and press charges on the judges at lameroux court house california divorce case 03d003699 filed in 2003 my nighbors erica reyes terri owens kim berry holly hanson all went to school with me they hated me and had this done to me thier parents and freinds all allowed them to do this becuase thier family works for hd tv and are piolets .

It’s 10 pm on a Sunday night and KCOL is airing two guys discussing the fine points of spiral galaxy classification. Bring back Billy Cunningham for his third hour. Stop jerking around your listening audience and be true to your posted schedule. Can someone please give me the FCC complaint website address....

NEWS RELEASE Brown and Associates, a Colorado Commercial Real Estate Company, wanted to do something to help First Responders and the tenants they manage in this Corona Virus crisis. Twenty restaurants in ten retail centers they manage, that are currently operating with delivery or take-out capability, have committed to participate in a program to donate meals to First Responders These operating restaurant tenants will safely provide meals for pick-up or delivery to First Responders during the week of April 13th. Each restaurant will receive up to 100 reimbursements for donation to Hospitals, other medical facilities that are treating the virus, firemen and police. These restaurants, some of which have famous dishes, will provide meals such as: pizza, canoles, gyros, special sandwiches, BBQ, burritos, wings, gourmet breakfasts, lunches, Super donuts and other individually packaged meals. I sent a comment concerning KCOL problem directly to Stu Haskell .."This is for Stu Haskell or anyone else that can help me! I listen to KCOL mainly at night. The reception on every radio in my house (4) has serious STATIC, all night long. In the morning, between 6:30-7:00 am, the static magically DISAPPEARS! Why is this happening and can you do something about it? Why do I have to put up with this, because some of my favorite programs are aired only on KCOL. My other comment concerns Jimmy. There are moments during his broadcasts that seriously disturb me, concerning some of the language that 'slips out'. I know over time some of that has improved...But not all of it!". As of today (11/12/20), I have not received or heard a helpful solution from the 'General Manager'. I remember years back, when we used to listen loyally to SH and enjoyed the programs he broadcasted, not so much these days. Please address this problem, we have had the past few years.

*In response to Reuel K* Would it be possible for you to list the exact time frame that KCOL comes in without static (and when it does have static)? It is worth noting that KCOL as of 2021 is 5kw daytime, 500 w nights, and changes the directional pattern day and night as well. On top of that, KSJB has been known to pile on top of KCOL during the evenings. On another hand, it could be your house itself. Either a heater that only runs at night, or RMI from a phone, tablet, computer, etc. or possibly: lights, fridge, microwave, or the neighborhood in general. It might just be a case of moving the radio to a quieter part of the house. Okay, I see that your travel radio is affected too. The interior of vehicles are actually too small for AM stations to reasonably fit through, leaving you with artifacts of signals. As for the other stuff you said, I am not in a position to discuss those things. There are some conservatives that are quite open with their words, others who believe they shouldn't say those words. KCOL, in my experience, has been middle of the road language to not at all. Hopefully this helps, ZBG

i just heard Bill O'Reilly say to Glenn Beck he thinks the Delta variant is being caused by the un-vaccinated. How does he know? Is he some renowned virologist or epidemiologist? The answer is NO. He's just another blowhard ex-famous TV personality airing his views. BTW, I haven't listened to kcol in a while but what happened to Jimmy Lakey? Is he on vacation and Beck is filling in for him?
